An easy low-cost way to do this is to take a round disc and drill a hole in the center. An easy solution to the Little Giant Thermostat is to affix your own knob to the 1/4" Shaft. This makes it easier to adjust the temperature by small increments and fine tune it. The Hova Bator adjusts it's temperature in a multi turn rotation (One full rotation of the adjustment knob may be one degree). This means you have to be very precise in turning the tiny knob and it is very easy to over adjust. The reason why people complain about this is because the Little Giant adjusts it's temperature range in ONE half-circle rotation, using a tiny shaft about 1/4" in diameter. Some people complain that the Little Giant thermostat is too hard to set. It works great but you will need to install it (not very difficult and comes with good instructions). It is a thermostat style which has been around for a long time because it is very effective. The Hova Bator uses a mechanical wafer-style thermostat. (Also see the table below):ฤก) First, the thermostats are very different. However, there are a few differences between them. The HovaBator & Little Giant incubators are both known to do a fine job incubating eggs. The Little Giant turner appears to be slightly higher quality, but in our testing, both performed equally well. The Little Giant Egg Turner is an off-white color and the HovaBator turner is a yellow-ish color. The Little Giant and Hova Bator will both hold the same quantity of eggs and the turners work just the same for each one.
